It is important to manage your reputation online. If you have a brand name that people type in to search engines you want to make sure only nice things come up about you. It is important to dominate the top ten results with web pages that are about you and are in a good light. If you ever do get negative press it can sometimes float to the front page of Google or Yahoo.
