eVision Systems is a Microsoft Certified Application Service Provider and has been since 1999. Over the past 8 years the ASP offering has evolved very nicely. Probability one of the most profound difference is the cost of bandwidth. I was looking at a older ASP contract and looked at the bandwidth cost and compared at today’s cost and it has dropped several hundred times. Bandwidth has been a major cost of ASP offerings and is now very cost effective. ASP deployments were traditionally using Citrix Servers as the application layer. This is a very expensive layer and today most of our ASP customers are web deployed elevating the Citrix layer. This is another major savings to the customer when considering hosting their solution.
